Is this official WhatsApp?

BookTide is built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform, using Meta's Cloud API — the route Meta provides for businesses. There are no unofficial apps and no modified WhatsApp involved. BookTide is an independent product from Novatide Consulting and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta.

Can I keep my clinic number?

Yes, and you should. BookTide runs on your own WhatsApp number — the one already on your board, your cards and your prescriptions. We handle the move onto the WhatsApp Business Platform during setup, so patients see the same number they have always messaged.

What do patients need?

Nothing but WhatsApp. No app to install, no account to make, no password to remember. They message your number the way they message anyone else, tap a few buttons, and they’re booked.

I already have a receptionist. Why do I need this?

Keep them. BookTide is not there to replace your receptionist — it is there to stop the phone ringing over them. It takes the 60+ booking calls, the “what are your timings” messages and the 11 pm enquiries, so your receptionist can look after the person standing at the counter instead of holding a handset. Every booking still lands in a dashboard your staff control.

My patients are older and not good with phones. Will they manage?

They only have to do what they already do every day: open WhatsApp and send a message. There is nothing to install, no account, no password. The assistant asks one question at a time and gives buttons to tap — English, हिन्दी or ગુજરાતી — so there’s nothing to type and nothing to spell. Anyone who would rather still call can call; the number is the same one it always was.

Is patient data safe?

BookTide stores only what a booking needs — name, phone number, chosen slot — and never asks for medical history. Your data is hosted in India, any patient record can be deleted on request, and the whole setup is built to sit comfortably with India’s DPDP Act. Who else touches it and how long we keep it are set out in our Privacy Policy.

Does the bot give medical advice?

Never. BookTide handles booking and logistics only — slots, reminders, timings, fees, directions. It will not comment on symptoms, suggest treatment, or answer a clinical question. Anything medical goes to you and your team, exactly as it does today.

How fast can I go live?

About a week. Novatide sets it all up for you: your number, your timings, your services, your languages, your reminder schedule. You review the flow on your own phone before it goes live, and there’s nothing for your staff to learn beyond one dashboard.

What languages does it speak?

English, हिन्दी and ગુજરાતી. Patients tap a button to choose, or simply write in the language they are comfortable with and the assistant follows. Buttons, confirmations and reminders all arrive in that same language.

What does it cost to run?

Your monthly plan, plus WhatsApp conversation charges from Meta, billed at cost on your own Meta account — a reminder works out to roughly ₹0.15. All prices exclude 18% GST. Setup is a one-time ₹15,000 on Starter and Growth, and free on the Founding Pilot. We do not charge per booking and there’s nothing hidden.
